Introduction

Magnum was incorporated in Malaysia on 19 December 1968 as a private limited company under the name Empat Nombor Ekor Sendirian Berhad. It commenced business in the year 1969. It was subsequently converted to a public company on 30 October 1969 and assumed the name of Magnum Corporation Berhad on 2 June 1977. Magnum has been listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia since 12 May 1970. Following the completion of a privatisation exercise, Magnum was de-listed on 2 July 2008 and subsequently converted into a private company on 18 July 2008, and changed its name to the current "Magnum Corporation Sendirian Berhad".

Member of a Global Association

Magnum Corporation Sdn Bhd is a member of both the World Lottery Association (WLA) and the Asia Pacific Lottery Association (APLA), which are international organizations of lottery professionals.

These Associations determine a code of conduct and best practices for its members to try and adhere to in order to raise the standards and ethics in this business. Lottery Operators in this Association share with each other how best to conduct their business fairly and justly; Be Responsible Corporate Citizens, Be Transparent and accountable, Be Professional in carrying out the services to all stakeholders and also to be Innovative and Creative.
